How to care for your Sylvie Strohl bag
Extend the life of your favorite bag
You have purchased a Sylvie Strohl bag, one of the specific features of which is the combination of textiles and leathers.
Cleaning these two materials is not done in the same way.
When it leaves the workshop, your bag is treated with an anti-stain spray on all fabric and leather surfaces.
We therefore think it is appropriate to give you some maintenance advice:
Good habits to adopt to preserve your bag:
Avoid contact with water, grease
If your bag gets wet, dab without rubbing the leather or textile material with a soft, light cloth to absorb
the liquid.
Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or intense light sources
When you are not using your bag, store it inside its protective pocket and keep it in a cool, dry and ventilated place in your home.
Our maintenance advice:

For cleaning your fabric and leather bag, we offer some material-specific recommendations.
For the leather of your bag:
We recommend using a cleansing milk with a soft cloth. We have tested the Saphir Universal Cream for you, it is dosed at 28.9% in beeswax and enriched with jojoba oil and lanolin. This milk is prized for its moisturizing and restorative properties, to allow the cream to clean the leather without
dry it out too much.
The leather is hydrated and soothed by the beeswax which acts as a protection against the effects of wind and sun on the leather.
Universal cream is a powerful and concentrated leather care product that remains very economical since it is effective even when applied in small quantities.
Always follow up cleaning the leather with moisturizing the leather using a clothing polish cream to nourish, soften and recolor it.
For the textiles in your bag:
Woolens, tweeds from the winter collections
You can also use the soft cloth + warm water + Marseille soap method to dab the stain carefully. Rinse gently with a cloth dampened with warm water. Then gently absorb the moisture with a clean, dry cloth. Leave to air dry away from a heat source.
Cottons and linens from the summer collections:
We offer you two solutions:
Follow the same steps as for wool. We also recommend using the multi-purpose glove from "H2O au Home". Gently rub your
bag with the damp and well-wrung glove, alone or with NETEPU textile stain remover soap
You will give your bag a new lease of life.
Your bag is not machine washable.
Once cleaned, don't forget to treat your bag with the anti-stain spray.
